Faculty Development

To support the efforts on Faculty Professional Development, LSA is collaborating with the Teaching, Learning and Pedagogy Division (TLPD) to design, develop and deliver a series of customised courses. These courses aim to equip our faculty with the relevant competencies to adopt pedagogical principles and technologies to enrich their teaching and learning.

Epigeum Research Integrity Programme

The Epigeum Research Integrity (RI) programme NTU adopted is designed to provide postgraduate students, new faculty and research staff with a basic understanding of responsible research practices in their area of study. The programme provides a common framework and content for learning and thinking about responsible professional behavior in research. If adopted widely, it will help ensure that our researchers:

  • Know the basics
  • Know where to get more information
  • Know your institution’s expectations for integrity and responsibility in research.

The core of the Research Integrity programme is the self-study course, available in five different track versions:

  • Arts and Humanities
  • Biomedical Sciences
  • Natural and Physical Sciences
  • Engineering and Technology
  • Social and Behavioural Sciences

Please refer to the table in Annex A Subject areas covered by the five track versions of Epigeum RI Programme for the subject areas covered by the five track versions of the programme.

Each version of the course consists of a series of screens (webpages) containing text, video and activities. The course will be available to the faculty, research staff and Master and PhD students doing research once the school/department/research center has set up the course site(s) for the school/department/research center.
